Oladimeji Animashaun better know by his stage name Money Makin S Dot is a hiphop recording artist raised in Richmond California. S dot was born to parents both of Nigerian descent that are from a Yoruba tribe who later moved to California to give their children a better opportunity towards success.
Oladimeji was raised in a household with four other siblings in a Richmond neighborhood known as "Hilltop". Growing up s-dot always strived to be the best in whatever he put his mind to. He looked up to the flamboyant hustlers in his neighborhood and knew that he would one day get his time to shine.
Putting a plan together to make it out the streets s-dot soon embarked on his music career as a corner boy rapping his heart out about the trials and tribulations in the hood. He has worked with some of the top producers in northern California like Dj fresh, Juneonnabeat, Xan brickz, who all have a well publicized catalog of outstanding beats.
Influenced by a term him and his neighborhood piers used s-dot has recently released a critically acclaimed independent album called "BLOCKLIFE".
S-dot teamed up with director Stewey Films to release his first visual for “Blocklife” off of the album where he celebrates in a gas station located in downtown Oakland surrounded by what seems to be the hype of every first Friday of the month.
Given a good response and recognition from the critics s-dot is soon to release more videos and music to prove he will be a well known staple in the music industry.
